I see Cellphone Stores on every corner... are repair stores next?

In 2000 cellphones took a new face and the market took off. In 2004 the Motorola Razor again reinvented the Cellphone market with its sleek slim flip model. In 2007 with the "iPhone" changed cellphone to smartphones in the blink of an eye and we haven't looked back. Today....it's tablets and everyone has, or wants one. As the US approaches over a 100% penetration rate of cellular devices per person the growth is surely not slowing down. So our answer, just like in cellular is yes growth in the repair business will double if not triple in the next three to five years. But at iFixandRepair our model is different....and does not limit your income to repairs only. There is alot more to what we have to offer and that is what separates us from the competition.

What makes iFAR iFixandRepair different from the others?

This is the easy one. There are a lot of franchises and business opportunities out there that offer portions of our offering. There are many wireless accessory kiosks and all the wireless carrier stores have accessories as well. They rarely offer a complete coverage for all phones, smart phones, tablets, etc. along with on-site repair. The kiosks often are temporary and they are mobile so you may not find them the next time you pass by. IFixandRepair stores are permanent locations that have complete repair facilities and a boutique setting for accessory shopping. Our stores offer refurbished phones, accept trades and buy used phones to refurbish and resell. There are other repair stores in permanent locations, but they do not come close to offering the level of products that our stores do. Just take a look at our stores and you see there is no other opportunity at our level.

We are selective in our applicants because the high level of our success is something we treasure and our only goal is for all the stores to be successful. We help you through your decision and we will not help you make a bad one when it comes to an iFaR store. By that, we mean if you have sufficient capital, experience, passion for the business, suitable market and management skills, we will help you become successful.

What does it cost to open a store?

The current price is $129,000. We do everything for you. This is a turn-key price. We will share more specifics after a confidentiality agreement is completed.

What is the need in the market?

Understanding the market to the best of our ability, the facts are CTIA(international nonprofit membership organization that has represented the wireless communications industry since 1984) says there are over 302,947,098 cell phones in the US being used on a daily basis as of 12-31-2010. There are also over 85 million video game consoles in US homes according to ESA(The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is the U.S. association exclusively dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of companies that publish computer and video games for video game consoles, personal computers, and the Internet). With this knowledge many of these devices are in need of service, thousand are dropped, cracked, drowned or fail on a daily basis. The normal repair business model requires shipping of the items to a manufacturer or repair center and waiting for it to be repaired and shipped back. No one wants to be without their device for several days. On-site and same-day repair is a huge advantage for the consumer. Our boutique-style retail sales floor also drives a significant amount of accessory sales, refurbished and used phone sales as well as tablets. Again there are other business opportunities that offer pieces of our program, but no one else has it all.
